Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Indianapolis Colts released starting center Samson Satele among a flurry of roster moves announced by the team Thursday.

Satele, who started all 27 games (including three postseason tilts) he appeared in during his two-year tenure in Indianapolis, was to have counted more than $5 million against the salary cap this season. The 29-year-old was entering the final season of a three-year contract he signed with the Colts in March of 2012.

A second-round pick of Miami in the 2007 draft, Satele has started 98-of-102 games over seven seasons with the Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Colts.

Indianapolis, which agreed to a reported four-year, $22 million deal with free agent linebacker D'Qwell Jackson earlier in the day, also extended tender offers to a pair of restricted free agents, cornerback Josh Gordy and guard Joe Reitz. Additionally, the team retained outside linebacker Cam Johnson, an exclusive rights player.

Gordy saw action in 12 games last season, his second with the Colts, and recorded 12 tackles with one interception. Reitz was an eight-game starter at left guard in 2012 and has opened 20 games over the past three seasons.

Johnson tallied six special-teams stops in 12 games in 2013.
