ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Members of the Creekside High School girl's basketball team are mourning the loss of their assistant coach, and FSU is remembering their former player, Alicia Gladden.

According to a family friend, Gladden, 27, was one of two people who died in a car crash Friday night on Roosevelt Blvd.

Investigators said that the driver of a black Dodge Charger was speeding down the north side of Roosevelt when the driver lost control and crossed the Edgewood median.

That's when the vehicle hit an on-coming Mazda driven by Gladden, according to a friend.

Both Gladden and the driver of the Charger were killed. The passenger in the Charger is now in critical condition.
