Jacksonville, FL -- The Jacksonville Sharks out lasted the South Division leading Tampa Bay Storm 49-47 Saturday night.
The Sharks had to do it without their starting quarterback and leader Aaron Garcia who injured his shoulder and suffered a concussion early in the game.
Backup quarterback Bernard Morrison used his athleticism and quickness to lead the Sharks to the two point victory.
With the win the Sharks snapped the Storm's eight game winning streak, and they're now tied for first place in the South Division with the Storm with two games left to play.
If the season ends with both teams sharing identical records, the Sharks would win the division because they own the tiebreaker.
The Sharks improved to 10-4 and hit the road next week to take on the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings.
