JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's been more than a month since the Jacksonville Sharks played a home game, but after three straight contests on the road, the team with the best record in the Arena Football League returns to Sea Best Field at Veterans Memorial Arena this Saturday night, June 18th.
The Sharks who have an (11-1) record host the Milwaukee Mustangs who are (4-8) on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. This game is being billed as "Halloween in June," so fans are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to the game.
Even though the Sharks play their games indoors, most of their practices are held outdoors. Working out in the Florida heat has been beneficial to the team, and in the video clip attached to this story, head coach Les Moss discusses the advantages of practicing in temperatures over 90 degrees.
Also included in the video clip is an intereview with Sharks defensive back Terrance Smith who is second on the team with 6 interceptions. He spent a few weeks on the Green Bay Packers practice squad this past December, but he was released before the team won Super Bowl XLV.
