JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars season ticket holders looking to take advantage of the team's Ready to Rise campaign will now have until 7 p.m. Friday evening to renew their tickets.
Originally, season ticket holders had until 5 p.m. Friday afternoon to renew. But since the Jags have been experiencing a record number of phone calls the team decided to extend the deadline, said Macky Weaver, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Jaguars.
Weaver said so far 85% of season ticket holders have renewed for next season. The team hopes by the end of the day that number will be around 91%.
Season ticket holders will be able to order online, renew at the ticket office window or call the Jaguars to renew their seats for next year.
Weaver said the team has been fielded 900 calls Friday. He asked that season ticket holders trying to call the ticket office be patient due to the large amount of calls they are receiving.
Any season tickets not renewed by the March 2nd deadline will be opened up to season ticket holders at the Jaguars' Annual Relocation/Add-A-Seat event. That event will take place March 7th-9th and 11th.
There are four ways season ticket holders for the Jaguars may renew their tickets:
- By returning their invoice to Jaguars Ticket Operations, One EverBank Field Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32202. Renewals must be received by 7 p.m. March 2nd.
- In person at the Jaguars Ticket Office located on the West side of EverBank Field. The ticket office has extended hours Friday and will be open until 7 p.m.
- By calling 904-633-2000, option 1. The Jaguars organization announced Friday afternoon that due to heavy call volume they would be extending their hours. Instead of closing phone lines at 5 p.m. the team said they will keep them going until 7 to allow season ticket holders who wish to renew the chance to do so.
Season ticket holders who renew by the deadline will also have the option to finance their tickets interest-free over a ten month period.
