Before top wide receiver prospect Justin Blackmon was chosen by the Jaguars,  the Oklahoma State junior joined Team Ghost.

Ubisoft is a select group of four celebrity gamers to promote its upcoming Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, out May 22, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (on PC June 12). Blackmon joins NBA All-Star Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves as the second member of the team.

What will you bring a team?

I will bring energy, and I'm a hard worker. I'm somebody who is going to give it all they got every time they step on the field.

How did you connect with Ubisoft for Team Ghost?

They connected with my agent and my agent knew that I played video games and things of that sort. They let me able to be part of this team.

Had you played previous Ghost Recon games?

I have before

Favorite games?

There's this one now any sports game I love to play. Any game as long as it keeps me entertained and there's more than one player.

I did prefer NCAA football over Madden but I might switch pretty quick. Are you PS3 or Xbox 360?I'm a little bit of both.

I play a bit more PS3 than Xbox but I play them both.Game style: Twitch or think?

Blackmon, who had played previous Ghost Recon games, chatted with Game Hunters about the draft, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and video games, in general.

How old were you when you started playing video games?

I was young. Super Mario. I had a Super Nintendo and played a lot of games on that. It took me a while to get a PlayStation.Favorite game growing up:I think it was Mario Kart on the N64.

It was competitive. It was always up in the air who was going to win. You had to show your skills.

A certain achievement you are proud of:

I bowled a 300 on the Wii before. That was one of my accomplishments.Last night I played ... Ghost Recon Future Soldier. It is just so realistic... It is just like you are out there in the battle. All the stuff that goes on, is really what happens, well from my point of view, everything that happens in the battle.

It is realistic and graphic. It really gets you going and gets you in the zone.

I was an interview with Kevin Love who is also on Team Ghost and he says he is more of a long range shooter. Is there a role that you plan to fill?

My role for team ghost, I am the fast guy. I get things started. I am the first guy in. I am supposed to get everything set up and point people to where to go.

I'm the first guy in and the last guy to leave.

What have you been doing these last few days as the draft approaches?

Hooking up with Ubisoft, playing the game over and over. It keeps my mind off thinking about the draft and what is coming up. How did you connect with Ubisoft for Team Ghost?

They connected with my agent, and my agent knew that I played video games and things of that sort.

They let me ... be part of this team. Kevin Love who is also on Team Ghost says he is more of a long-range shooter.
