JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery that happened Tuesday morning at a Community First Credit Union.
Police were dispatched to the credit union, located at 1623 Edgewood Avenue West, at 9:35 a.m., according to Lt. Derrick Lewis with the JSO robbery unit.
The suspect is a black female in her 20s who was wearing a black New York Yankees hat, blue T-shirt and sunglasses, Lewis said.
She produced a note demanding small bills, Lewis said. She left with monies in an unknown direction and a vehicle was not seen.
Lewis said the robbery unit is following up on leads from witnesses.
