Tebow is missing and Brian Dolinger has been arrested for burglary to an automobile and grand theft for allegedly letting the dog out of the car because he was annoyed with the dog's barking.
Wargo went to the Walmart at 1580 Brannan Field Road just before 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7. She left Tebow in the car and rolled the windows down slightly as the weather was not hot, according to a Clay County Sheriff's Office report.
Dolinger was leaving the store with his wife and two children. He then started installing windshield wiper blades on his truck, which was parked a few spaces away from Wargo's vehicle.
He then walked over to Wargo's vehicle and reached inside, then went back to his truck. He drove in a circle, pulled up next to Wargo's vehicle, opened the door and drove away, the report stated.
When Wargo came out of the store, Tebow was gone.
Deputies were then able to locate Dolinger after searching a database. Police interviewed his wife, who confirmed what happened, and then made contact with Dolinger at the Middleburg Substation. He was then arrested and transported to the Clay County Jail.
Wargo is still searching for her dog and has been putting up posters in the Brannan Field Road/Blanding Boulevard area.
