JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former teacher and a Jacksonville businessman will fill the two empty seats on the Duval County School Board.
Ashley Smith Juarez narrowly beat out Suzanne Jenkins in District 3.
Jason Fischer was the winner over Jon Heyman in the District 7 race.
Both are ready to get to work with the new superintendent.
Here's a look at the final numbers: Smith Juarez won with 54 percent of the vote. And Fischer beat Jon Heyman with 58 percent of vote.
