JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A tractor-trailer overturned Tuesday morning, closing all lanes of Martin Luther King Parkway between Phoenix Avenue and Liberty Street.
The crash is affecting all lanes of the expressway. Police said there is a fuel leak also at that location.
Police at the scene said the crash happened shortly before 6 a.m. when the driver of the semi failed to negotiate a sharp curve in the construction zone.
The truck, which was carrying aluminum, overturned when the weight shifted during the curve.
Rescue crews contained a small fuel leak from the truck's tanks.
Police diverted traffic onto 8th Street while crews cleaned up the fuel leak.
