TAMPA, Fla. -- The New York Times reported Wednesday that the FBI agent involved in the David Petraeus sex scandal is Frederick W. Humphries II.
Up until now, Humphries has been referred to as "the FBI agent" that Jill Kelley reportedly confided in after she allegedly received harassing emails from Paula Broadwell.
Broadwell is the woman CIA Director Petraeus was having an extramarital affair with, which resulted in the submission of his resignation to President Barack Obama on Friday, November 9.
