JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a driver who fled on foot after causing a four-vehicle crash.

Three people were injured in the crash, according to Sgt. J.D. Gregory.

One motorcyclist was transported to Shands in critical condition, but has been upgraded to serious.

The crash happened when a van was taken earlier on Wednesday without permission, Gregory said.

The van was stopped behind a car at the intersection of Beaver Street and Jones Road when the van tried to go around the vehicle in front of it.

The van then lost control, hit another car that was turning, and then crashed into a truck and gas pump at Ronnie's Food Mart. The driver then fled on foot.

The motorcyclist was at the gas station when they were hit, Gregory said.

The gas pump is on the ground and doesn't appear to have major damage.
