JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Overnight, while most of us were sleeping, hacktivist group "Anonymous" was busy at work on another operation dubbed, "OpRollRedRoll Steubenville Ohio."

The group released a video allegedly detailing the story of a rape victim in Steubenville, Ohio, and naming those it claims were involved. In August, according to police, at least two Steubenville football players were involved in an apparent sexual assault. The two were initially charged with raping a 16-year-old girl and kidnapping her by taking her to several parties while she was too drunk to resist, though the kidnapping charges were later dropped.

In the video, which incorporates Twitter posts and photos allegedly posted by team members the night of the incident, the group makes the following statement:

"This is a warning shot to the school faculty [Steubenville High School], the parents of those involved and those involved especially. A preliminary 'dox' is being released on some of those involved, while a full size dox of everyone involved including names, social security numbers addresses, relatives and phone numbers is being is being compiled as you watch this video, of every single member of the football team, those involved, the coaches, the principal and more. These docs will be released unless all accused parties come forward by New Year's Day and issue a public apology to the girl and her family. Make no mistake, all you need is a Google search engine to realize we are serious in what we do. You can hide no longer, you have attracted the attention of the hive. We cannot sit by idly and watch a group of young men who will turn to rape as a game or sport get the pass because of athletic ability and small town luck. You now have the world looking directly at you ... current principal and faculty, you would be wise not to shield the guilty."

Anonymous was also able to take control of a Steubenville High School athletic website set up by a third party, which is not affiliated with Steubenville City Schools, according to the Steubenville School District Website.

Anonymous promised a press release with more details later today. The New YorkTimes, Cleveland.com and Pittsburgh-area TV station, WTAE have been following the story over the past few months.
