JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you make a donation of $200 or more to the North Florida Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, you may be able to win tickets to the 2013 Super Bowl.
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman John Chick has donated a pair of tickets to the organization as a fundraiser giveaway. The first 50 people who donate $200 or more will be entered to win.
The contest opened Friday morning at 9 a.m. and will close on Tuesday, Jan. 29th at 4 p.m. The winner of the tickets, which are located in Section 622 Row 13, will be randomly selected.
The monies raised will be put toward type 1 diabetes research, per Chick's request, according to a release.
"Although I am able to live out my dream of playing in the NFL, it is still a challenge to live with this disease," Chick said in a release. "And still to this day I need to constantly check my blood sugar and take insulin until we can find a cure."
