ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A man who allegedly robbed a bank in St. Augustine was arrested Wednesday after robbing a bank in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Charges against Craig Steven Ozarowski, 55, are pending after police say he allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in St. Augustine on Feb. 8.

St. Augustine Police Department investigators sent a nationwide BOLO on a robbery suspect. The Mount Pleasant Police Department took the photos from the St. Augustine robbery and matched the photo of Ozarowski robbing a bank in their jurisdiction on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, according to a release from SAPD Public Information Officer Mark Samson.

In both photos, Ozarowski is wearing the same jacket. Found in his hotel room were white tennis shoes similar to the ones worn in the St. Augustine bank robbery, according to Samson.

Ozarowski absconded from probation a couple of months back and has committed nine different armed robberies in the last three weeks. Since 1975, he has been arrested for 14 felonies, many of them for armed robbery, and has served time in the federal prison system for the same thing, Samson said.

Corporal Charles Simpson is currently working withe Federal Bureau of Investigation concerning Ozarowski and charges from the Wells Fargo Bank robbery are pending, according to the police report.
