JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has found more information in identifying an attempted kidnapping suspect.
Since JSO released a composite sketch of a man suspected of kidnapping a 25-year-old woman jogging down
Timberlin Park Boulevard near Square Lake Boulevard on Jan. 31, an extra large, extra long hoodie-style dark sweatshirt was found near the scene of the attempted kidnapping.
Investigators determined that the suspect was wearing this sweatshirt through information obtained from citizens in the area, according to JSO Chief Tom Hackney.
Further investigation revealed that the sweatshirt was purchased from the Dillard's Clearance Center at Regency Mall. JSO is going through Dillard's sales records to find when the sweatshirt, which has the label "Sport Roundtree & Yorke."
The man is described as a white male with a tanned complexion and chin
hair. He is aged 18-25, 5-foot-6-inch to 5-foot-9-inch, 180-200 lbs with straight, short
brown hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood and blue jeans,
according to the police report.
