JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Did she get the job?
On Wednesday, we told you about Monica Stoltz. She went to EverBank Field for a job fair and we made it our goal to help her get a job.
Good news: She got an interview.
It was with GC Services, a debt collection agency on the Southside.
First Coast News Photojournalist Mike Kaminski went along and Monica said she was pretty nervous going into the interview.
At the job fair, Monica was told to change her "objective" to "summary," highlighting her skills such as experience with medical billing and customer service.
Monica also enlarged the font size on her resume and researched the company beforehand, asking questions during the interview.
Three hours later, she got the job!
So congratulations to Monica. Her new employer GC Services is hiring 60 more people. The company trains new recruits on the job, but they do require a high school degree.
They are accepting online applications.
