(AP) -- Five young adults have been killed in a two-vehicle crash on an interstate exit ramp in South Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a Mercedes slammed into a Lexus as it exited Interstate 95 in Riviera Beach early Saturday.
The Palm Beach Post reports the Lexus had two men in the front and three women seated in the back. All were between ages 18 and 22.
According to the FHP, the Lexus rolled over and hit two trees. Several passengers were ejected.
Four of the occupants from the Lexus were pronounced dead at the scene. A fifth died at a hospital.
FHP spokesman Tim Frith says the driver of the Mercedes was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and is not cooperating with investigators.
