LEVY COUNTY, Fla. -- A single vehicle crash resulted in the death of the driver on Saturday night.
Around 11 p.m., the Levy County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash on County Road 323 in Levy County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 1996 Pontiac was traveling southbound when it traveled off the west side of the roadway and onto the grass shoulder.
The vehicle began to spin and skidded back across the roadway. After skidding, the vehicle overturned before striking a wire fence and a tree.
The driver, a 28-year-old Williston resident, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
According to FHP, the driver was not wearing their seat belt.
FHP is investigating the incident.
