JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On Tuesday morning, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office dedicated the criminal complex in memory of Sheriff Neil Perry.
Perry was in law enforcement from 1968 until 2004 when he retired. He served as sheriff for five terms.
There was also a ceremony to honor the men and women of law enforcement who have died in the line of duty.
The ceremony included a 21-gun salute to honor the 13 law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in St. Johns County.
