Surveillance video leads to several juvenile arrests

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Juvenile suspects between the ages of 13 and 17 allegedly robbed Dipsticks ATV on North State Road 19, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

The details of the release state that the suspects allegedly stole a Toshiba laptop computer along with two dirt bikes and three all-terrain vehicles on Tuesday.

The video surveillance from the business along with police investigation led to the identity and arrests of seven suspects.

Each of the suspects has been arrested on charges of burglary, larceny and vehicle theft. The juveniles were turned over to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

The police were able to recover all three of the all-terrain vehicles and the dirt bikes.

According to Sheriff Jeff Hardy, "Crimes of this nature are unacceptable in Putnam County. The youth involved are now facing serious felony charges".
