ATLANTA -- The newest model from Porsche is eminently affordable but won't be setting any land-speed records.
The German automaker with North American headquarters in Atlanta is making a Go-Kart that will put children as young as 5 behind the wheel of a sporty Porsche machine.
Pedal-powered and weighing in at 55 pounds, the Go-Kart has an MSRP of $900 and can accommodate children up to 5 feet in height and 110 pounds. The Go-Kart will be available from participating authorized Porsche dealers and on the internet at porsche.com/shop.
Porsche Cars North America Inc. broke ground on its new headquarters in Atlanta in November 2012 and will move from its Sandy Springs headquarters to the 26-acre campus near the airport upon completion.
