JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Hastings man was sentenced to 15 years and 10 months in prison on federal methamphetamine charges.
Frank Higginbotham, 36, was found guilty on February 21 of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and distribution of methamphetamine, according to a release from the office of U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill.

He was also ordered to eight years of supervised release after serving his prison term.
Higginbotham reportedly sold meth to an undercover Drug Enforcement Administration agent on Feb. 13, 2012. He also took part in a conspiracy to manufacture and sell meth in which he would take boxes of pseudoephedrine, the release detailed.
He had previously served three years in state prison for manufacturing meth.
