JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A $10,000 reward is being offered for an arrest in the Saturday robbery of the Firehouse Subs at 4347 University Boulevard South.

According to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Assistant Chief Chris Butler, the robbery occurred at 8 p.m. One employee was outside the back of the store when two masked, armed men wearing gloves approached.

When the employee started screaming, another employee opened the back door to see what was going on. The two suspects then forced themselves and the two employees into the back door.

Two other employees who were already in the store hit the floor and did not have any contact with the suspects, Butler said.

One employee got money out of the drawer after being ordered to do so by the suspects. No one was hurt in the incident and no customers were in the store at the time of the robbery.

JSO is investigating a white Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows that was parked behind the alley of the store. It is not clear at this time if the car was involved, Butler said.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
