Rachel Stieringer is facing new charges related to meth manufacturing with a child present.

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. -- A Clay County mother who made international headlines after deputies said she posted a picture on Facebook of her child holding a bong in 2010 was arrested again.

Rachel Stieringer, 22, was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine with a child present, possession of a listed chemical and maintaining a dwelling for the manufacture of meth last month.

In 2010, Stieringer was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after the internet photo of her baby holding a bong went viral.

The Department of Children and Families launched an investigation in 2010, but found the child had no injuries.

A drug test on the infant also came back negative.

Experts say exposure to even low levels of meth ingredients can cause serious health effects in children like shortness of breath, coughing, chest pain, dizziness, chemical burns and death.

In May local mother Amy Kline shared her story of addiction to meth.

"I would hide from my older two kids, because they know me so well, all they have to do is look at me and know something was wrong," said Cline.

The drug can make addicts fall into a deep sleep for days, increasing the chances of neglect. Cline said there were days she could not even get out of bed.

"I couldn't take it anymore. Every day I wanted to die. Every day I wanted to die. I didn't want to live anymore," Cline said.

She said the drugs were taking a toll on her and making her neglect her children.

"A horrible mother, an absolute horrible mother," said Cline.

Cline was able to quit in time and hoped her story would encourage other parents abusing meth to do the same.

Stieringer's bond is set at $226,000.
