JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man has been found after a late night incident. A man carrying a gun was seen chasing another man though a Southside apartment complex Monday night according to investigators.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance at Pine Meadows Apartments at 3451 Saland Way around 8:45 p.m., according to JSO Homicide Detective Shawn Coarsey.

Witnesses saw a man, wearing sunglasses and dark clothing, talking on the phone.

"They heard him talking on the phone to an unknown person talking about taking care of the problem or taking care of a certain person," Coarsey said.

Shortly after that conversation, another man pulled up in his car.

According to Coarsey, witnesses heard the man who was in the car screaming, "he's got a gun."

Witnesses looked and saw the man in sunglasses holding a gun, according to Coarsey.

The man carrying the gun chased the other man towards the south end of the apartment complex.

As of 11:30 p.m., neither of the men have been located by JSO.

JSO found a car near the scene of the incident that was still running and identified the man to which the car was registered to.

The wife of the man whose name is attached to the car called earlier in the night and reported it stolen, according to JSO.

One of the men was later found at his girlfriend's home. Police say he was the victim of an attempted robbery.
