JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville teen accused in the killing of two brothers is appeared in court Wednesday morning.
Avery Wood, 19, is charged with two counts of felony murder and two counts of armed robbery.
Police said Wood plotted to get a group of people together and rob the brothers, Andrew Bohannon, 24, and Matthew Bohannon, 19, of drugs.
The planned transaction was set to take place Sunday at the Golden Corral on Normandy Boulevard.
Instead, surveillance video shows someone from inside a car opening fire at the brothers, who were inside another car, according to police.
Police also said Wood admitted to trying to rope in others to take part in the robbery with him. Witnesses verified that information.
