JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Billy & Raden are excited for the school year to begin.

"You get to go in and you set all your stuff out and you put stuff away and start listening," Raden said.

On the first day of school, they will have brand new supplies due to Stuff the Bus!

"I like the notebooks and pens so I can draw and stuff," Raden said.

Because when you start a new school year, one of the best parts is ... "knowing I have new stuff to go," said sixth grader Lauren English.

Getting kids excited about education is huge! Lauren has big dreams for her future.

"Well I was thinking about being a doctor," she said.

Mom asked for her face not to be shown, but she said she is very thankful for everyone dropping off donations.

"It is a blessing that people that have the time and money step up and help those less fortunate," she said.

You can donate anything you would normally buy for your children and leave it in the brown barrels at participating Publix supermarkets.

Even though you may not see whose hands, your donation makes it to families who are all saying two words: "Thank You!"

If you would like to come in and sign up to receive some of the supplies from Stuff the Bus, you have until the end of the month. Come down to the Salvation Army and fill out some forms. Click here to read the list of items you need to bring with you.
