JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A woman involved in a single car crash last week succumbed to her injuries Wednesday.
Patricia Seabrooks, 66, died after suffering life threatening injuries from an accident that occurred Thursday, August 15, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Seabrooks was driving northbound in the 2100 block of Myrtle Avenue in the Moncrief Park neighborhood when her vehicle veered off the road hitting a palm tree.
According to a witness, Seabrooks suffered an apparent medical emergency prior to crashing into the tree.
Seabrooks was pronounced dead on Wednesday, August 21, after being in the hospital for seven days.
JSO said this is an ongoing investigation.
