MARIETTA, Ga. -- The state is expected to rest its case Tuesday in the murder trial of a Brunswick teen.
De'Marquise Elkins, 17, is charged with the shooting death of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago.
The state called about a dozen witnesses Monday and said it could wrap up Tuesday. One key witness still left to take the stand is Santiago's mother, Sherry West.
The defense will begin calling witnesses tomorrow and could wrap as early as Thursday.
