JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Football might be a male dominated sport, but there's nothing that says a girl can't get in on the action.

For this week's Heart of the Game, we're introducing you to Erika Clark, a female kicker for the Bolles School football team.

The standard is high when you're a part of the Bolles School football team because when you put on the uniform and enter the field, you're part of a winning tradition that includes 11 state titles.

And now that the team's roster includes Clark.

No special treatment here: On the field, Clark is treated like one of the guys and after her 25-yard pre-season kick, she's made a name for herself.

"Obviously I think she impressed the people on the team and then us as coaches. It's not just the fact that she can kick it's the way that she carries herself," said Bolles head coach Corky Rogers.

And every point counts when your kick can carry the team to a win.

This is Clark's second season as the backup kicker. That's after she transferred her soccer skills into football skills. And she says her 25-yard kick is an old record now -- her longest to date is now 42.
