JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to a fire on the Westside early Friday morning.
The two alarm fire started at 4:30 a.m. at a church previously known as the Church of the Epiphany.
The fire was contained to a separate building at the vacant church located at 5230 Harlow Boulevard, according to officials on scene.
About 50 firefighters responded to the blaze and were on scene for about three hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
The fire broke out across the street from the Webb Wesconnett Library, which was not damaged in the blaze.
