JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- When heavy rain causes flooding in the River City, one of the first areas to go under water is McCoys Creek Boulevard.
The city of Jacksonville could close the road in the future as part of a plan to reduce flooding in that area.
Saturday hundreds of volunteers turned out for "Moppin Up McCoys", a huge event organized to clean up McCoys Creek.
Residents found things like old tires, shopping carts and lots of trash.
