JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The killer of DreShawna Davis will get his death penalty appealed.
Lawyers of Rasheem Dubose will ask justice to throw out his conviction and death sentence.
Eight-year-old DreShawna Davis was murdered back in 2006 in her grandmother's home.
Shots were fired into that home after Davis' uncle robbed a man at gun point.
Attorneys for Dubose will argue that his conviction and death sentences for killing David should be thrown out.
