JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Trader Joe's will open a location at the Beaches next year.
Trader Joe's confirmed it has signed a lease for a 12,500-square-foot space in the South Beach Regional Center near the intersection of JTB and A1A.
The store will feature a festive décor that mixes traditional Trader Joe's elements such as cedar covered walls and Hawaiian motifs, combined with a local flair that includes art celebrating the neighborhood, according to a Trader Joe's release.
Trader Joe's, a specialty grocery store, is named after its founder, Joe Coulombe. The chain began in 1958 as a Greater Los Angeles area.
Trader Joe's has locations in Gainesville, Tallahassee and Tampa.
The release states:
Trader Joe's carries an extensive array of domestic and imported foods and beverages including fresh baked artisan breads, Arabica bean coffees, international frozen entrées, 100% juices, fresh crop nuts, deli items, and vitamins and supplements, as well as the basics, like milk and eggs - all at honest, low prices.
