11 suspects arrested, 3 remain at large in Georgia meth trafficking conspiracy

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Several people have been charged with conspiring to traffic large amounts of meth, according to the United States Attorney's Office, Southern District of Georgia.

The details of the release from the attorney's office said that the trafficking allegedly took place from Mexico to Richmond, Columbia and McDuffie Counties in Georgia and to areas of South Carolina.

A total of 11 suspects have been arrested, including:

  • Jose Ines Davila, 34
  • Victor Eduardo Ovalle, Jr., 20
  • Huber Romero, 37
  • Naun Padilla, 34
  • Tyler James Barcenas, 21
  • Henri Vertez Travis, 38
  • Fidel Sanchez Garcia, 32
  • Oscar Piedra, aka Oscar Hernandez, 39
  • Jesus Avala Lombera, 32
  • Gilberto Fabona Gaona, 38
  • Florentino Binzha- Elisa, 46

At this time 3 suspects remain at large:

  • Maximo Moreno, aka Maximo Castillo, 70
  • Jorge Perez Rodriguez, 31
  • Eduardo Juarez Gallegos, 44

The FBI is asking anyone with information with the whereabouts of the three suspects to call 706-722-3702.

This was a joint investigation by the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, the DEA, State of Georgia Pardons and Parole Office, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
