JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Three people were killed and two more were injured in separate apartment shootings on the Westside Saturday.

The shootings took place less than two miles from each other.

A man is dead and a woman was taken to the hospital after a shooting at a Westside apartment Saturday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the Eden's Edge Apartment Homes on Wilson Blvd. around 2:20 p.m. on reports of shots fired.

When JSO arrived it found two people had been shot.

The first victim, 57-year-old Henry Underwood, was found dead at the scene and a woman in her 20s was taken to UF Health in life-threatening but stable condition, according to JSO.

A witness was in the apartment in a back-room, according to JSO, but did not see the shooter.

On Tuesday, police arrested 20-year-old Toddrick Nelson Lee and charged him with Murder and Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, according to a JSO Arrest Report.

Earlier Saturday morning two people were fatally shot and one was injured in a nearby apartment on the Westside.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a call of shots fired inside the Canterbury Apartments in the 1500 block of S. Lane Ave. shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

Inside the apartment officers located two females and one male with gunshot wounds. The male and one of the females were pronounced dead on the scene. The injured female was transported to UF Health Jacksonville with life threatening injuries.

The victims were identified as Emanual Errol Robinson, 21, and Latricia Brianna Johnson, 21, both of the 1500 block of South Lane Avenue.

JSO announced the arrest of Keith Collins Jr. in connection with the killings

The investigations are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call JSO Homicide or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.

Police said the two shootings are not related.

JSO called in extra detectives to help investigate the unusual amount of crime scenes piling up around the First Coast.
