JACKSONVILLE, FLA-- A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after an early morning crash on I-295 Southbound.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kevin Lindsey was driving his Nissan Versa on the Northbound side of the Southside Connector in the right travel lane. For an unknown reason, FHP says Lindsey could not maintain control of his car in the turn north of Merrill Road.
The car went of the right shoulder and began to rotate and then flipped. Lindsey was not wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle and taken to UF Health hospital.
